The Last of Us Star Bella Ramsey Will Play the Lead Role of Ivy in Coming-of-Age Drama ‘Sunny Dancer’ Film
Variety has recently announced that the lead cast of The Last of Us, Bella Ramsey, will join the cast for Sunny Dancer as a part of her next project. The star cast will share the screen with Louis Partridge and Ruby Stokes.
According to official sources, the plot of the Sunny Dancer movie will revolve around a teenage character, Ivy (Bella Ramsey), who is in remission from cancer. In the midst of chaos, Ivy finds some bright light as her outspoken mum and benevolent father help her attend the Children Run Free Camp, a summer retreat camp for young adults with cancer.
As mentioned, Bella Ramsey, Ruby Stokes, and Louis Partridge are confirmed to serve in the upcoming cancer retreat story for the Sunny Dancer film. We will also see some new cast members who will support the show’s plot.
Ruby Stokes has already worked on various films and television series, including Black Dog (2023), A Banquet (2021), Rocks (2021), The Burning Girls (2023), and Lockwood & Co. (2023). Not only that, but 20-year-old Louis Partridge has also worked on several films, including Enola Holmes (2020), Enola Holmes 2 (2022), and Argyle (2024).
