Jodie Comer, Aron Taylor-Johnson Joins, and Ralph Fiennes Joins ’28 Years Later’

The upcoming zombie sequel of 28 Years Later added Jodie Comer, Aron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes to the cast list. It is the continuation of the film 28 Days Later, which was released in 2002. Danny Boyle will be back in the seat of director, and he reunite with Alex Garland to write the script.

The plot regarding 28 Years Later is unclear. The original movie told the story of Jim, played by Cillian Murphy, a bicycle courier who went into a coma due to an accident. At the time, he was in a coma, a contagious virus spread in the city and turned people into Zombies. Jim woke from a coma after 28 days when the outbreaks happened, and he must learn survival skills to escape from the zombies.

Boyle and Garland also produce 28 Years Later along with Bernard Bellew and Andrew Macdonald. Murphy also returns to the film not as a star but as an executive producer.

A trilogy is already planned, and it will be reported that the shooting will start after the wrap of the first one. Nia DaCosta, who directed the film Candyman, will direct the sequel to 28 Years Later.
