Recently, HBO announced that the team has finalized the cast including Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell for the lead roles of Dunk and Egg for the prequel of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight Cast Members
Peter Claffey, an Irish actor and former rugby player will join A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge as Dunk while Dexter Sol Ansell will play the lead role of Egg.
Peter has earlier worked for Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters and horror comedy series Wrecked. Not only that, but he will also return in the third season of Viking Valhalla. On the other hand, Ansell started his acting career when he was just 4. His debut was Emmerdale and later he performed in The Midwich Cuckoos and Hellraisers.
What Are the Other Projects of the Game of Thrones Universe?
As of now, G.G Martin has released three novellas under the Tales of Dunk and Egg. It includes The Hedge Knight (1998), The Sworn Sword (2003), and The Mystery Knight (2010).
Five years later, in 2015, the trilogy was combined and published under a single title ‘A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms’ Apart from that, other projects are also in line up which will further extend the Game of Thrones universe.
