Keanu Reeves Joins the Cast as Shadow in ‘Sonic 3’
John Wick star Keanu Reeves is reportedly part of the voice cast of the Sonic franchise. As per reports, Reeves will voice the character of Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The character Shadow first appeared in Sonic Adventure 2 in 2001, and since then, it has been part of the franchise’s many projects.
The news regarding the casting of Keanu Reeves as Shadow is broke by The Hollywood Reporter on April 15. The character appeared in the post-credits scenes of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The scene portrays a brief glimpse of the character in a research lab on an island.
The Franchise released a first-look image of Shadow, which shows his feet with a shoe standing next to a clapperboard with the caption “Off and RUNNING, Sonic Movie 3 only in theatres December 20, 2024”.
