Zendaya Wore Tennis-Themed Outfit on the Challenges Press Tour
The tennis drama Challengers, starring Zendaya, will have a theatrical release this month in the US, but the movie is already in the buzz. Zendaya plays the role of Tashi, a former tennis player who turned into a coach. She trains her husband into a tennis star, and when he starts a losing streak, she decides to set a challengers event against her ex-boyfriend.
Zendaya leaves no stone to ensure the success of the movie. In the last few weeks, the actor has been doing promotions for her film. For the promotion, Zendaya chose tennis-inspired outlines and colors, such as green and white for her outfits.
Zendaya in Australian Premiere
Zendaya started her Challengers press tour in Sydney on March 26. She graced the red carpet in a custom-made green gown. It was designed by the fashion designer Jonathan Anderson, who is the costume designer of the movie.
The dress features a low-cut neckline, bold leg slit, and black outline of a tennis player, which she wears with a matching heel.
In the photocall outside the Sydney Opera House Zendaya wore Pelagia Kolotouros’s one of fall/winter 2024 collection custom Lacoste, which was a white crop top and the short was covered by netted skirt.
Photocall in Paris
At the photocall event on Apri 6, Zendaya wore the 1999 spring/summer collection of Marc Jacobs’s Louis Vuitton matching set which matched the color of the tennis ball.
In another photocall in Paris, she wore a 2013 spring/summer collection of a checkered coat of Louis Vuitton with a white headband and matching heels. For both her outfits, she used to wear the earrings of Bulgari jewelry.
The final outfit of Zendaya in Paris was a custom Louis Vuitton gown of white color.
Zendaya’s Rome Photocall
In the premiere of Rome, Zendaya wore a white Calvin Klein suit, featuring a blazer and skirt with a Serpenti Viper necklace of Bulgari with a matching heel.
In her Challengers photocall in Rome Zendaya wore a custom Loewe silver mini dress with black trimming, and it has a pleated skirt and deep v-neck. She chose a tennis ball heel for this dress. Her hair was pinned upto shoulder length with curled ends.
UK Premiere
Zendaya wore a custom Thom Browne gown in the London premiere of Challengers, which features a halterneck, deep thigh slit, and pleated skirt with a detailed embroidered tennis racket. She tied her honey-blonde braid hair in a high ponytail with a giant white bow.
During the press conference in the UK, Zendaya chose to wear Loro Piana’s yellow sweater and ballet flats.
In a photocall at Claridges Hotel, she opted to wear a striped vest coat and a matching skirt.
