Salma Hayek Celebrates Anniversary with François-Henri Pinault, Sharing Wedding Photos
Salma Hayek celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with her husband, François-Henri Pinault. The actress took her Instagram and shared rare wedding photos of them with the caption, “There are no words to explain the blessing of finding your soulmate.”
Hayek tied the knot with the French businessman in a courthouse ceremony on Valentine’s Day in 2009. But the couple also conducted a lavish wedding in Venice in the same year of April.
In the first still, Hayek looks amazing in her bridal corset. She styled her hair in a sleek bun and glammed up for her big day. Another picture shows her wedding gown hanging in the clothing rack. In the last image, the couple smile at each other at the altar while Pinault places the ring on her finger.
The couple had technically two marriage anniversaries, and in February, Hayek marked their anniversary on Valentine’s Day by posting a tribute to her husband. She wrote on Instagram that after 18 years together and 15 years of marriage, he still makes her loving fresh like a gentle breeze, along with a picture. The photo was in black and white, and the couple was dressed elegantly and laughing together. Hayek was looking at the camera, and Pinault looked at her face.
They started dating in 2006 and became parents of their daughter, Valentina Pinault, in September 2007. She is open about their relationship, and in an interview, she said that it was such a romantic and fantastic story but didn’t want to vulgarize it by making a story.
François-Henri Pinault is a businessman and the chairman and CEO of Kering. Pinault has two children in his previous marriage, Mathilde and François, and he shares a son, Augustin James, with his ex Linda Evangelista.
In January 2017, Hayek talked about their relationship and how they support each other. She said that she married the right guy and supported everything they did. She also added that they didn’t have a strong social life because they liked to spend time together.
Hayek told in another conversation in February 2023 that her husband Pinault gave support by visiting the set during the shooting of Magic Mike’s Last Dance and became friends with her co-stars.
The actress previously said that she rejected Pinault’s marriage proposal two times because of fear of marriage. She admitted that the fear of getting married stayed with her until her courthouse wedding, where her family dragged her down the aisle. She said she later realized that she didn’t feel any difference after becoming his wife.
