Kate Middleton and Prince William Celebrate 13th Anniversary, Share a Unseen Photo from Wedding

Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated their 13th anniversary on April 29 and shared never seen before photographs of their wedding on their social media account with the caption “13 years ago today”. The picture was in black and white, where the couple stood together and posed with a smile.

Kate wore a v-neck white wedding gown with a lace overlay designed by Sarah Burton and held the bouquet. At the same time, Prince William wore a military uniform. Several followers extended wishes to the couple for their 13th anniversary.

The photo was captured by the Photographer Millie Pilkington, who recently took the photo of King Charles and Queen Camilla. It was released on the first anniversary of their coronation. She also snapped the birthday pictures of William and Kate’s children.

The photographer also shared the couple’s photo on her social media account with the caption, “Wishing the prince and princess of Wales the very happiest wedding anniversary”.

Westminster Abbey also wished the pair by sharing a video on social media. The video shows the couple leaving the church after their wedding ceremony.

As per the earlier reports, the couple would not celebrate their anniversary in grand because of Kate’s health. A month before, the Princess of Wales revealed in a video about her cancer diagnosis. She said in that video that she started the chemotherapy treatment and also added with the support of William, they were handling the situation. She thanked the well-wishers for their support.

Kate is the third UK Royal person who has been diagnosed with cancer after King Charles and Sarah Ferguson, the Dutches of York.

Prince William and Kate first met at the St. Andrews University in Scotland in 2001. William said in an interview that they had been friends for over a year, and after that, love started to blossom between them. In 2019, Kate said William used to cook to impress her in college.

William and Kate’s romance caught the public eye in 2004 after their photo was published in ‘The Sun.’ The pair got engaged in 2010 when William presented Kate with the engagement ring of his mother, Princess Diana.

The Prince and Princess of Wales tied the knot on April 29, 2011, in front of nearly 2000 people at Westminster Abbey. Queen Elizabeth II gave the couple the royal title of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at that ceremony. The couple had three children: Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

In April 2023, the couple celebrated their 12th anniversary by sharing a new photo and captioned it “12 years”. The photo was captured by Matt Porteous. In that photo, William and Kate were riding a bicycle in the Norfolk countryside.
