Finally! Warner Bros and Drew Goddard Revealed The Return of The Matrix 5 With Lana Wachowski as Executive Producer

Keanu Reeves, popularly known for his determination and strength, and one of the most feared boogeyman characters, John Wick, has earlier served the screen through his exceptional contribution as Neo in The Matrix. Finally! Warner Bros. Entertainment owns the rights to the Matrix franchise and has recently shared the news about the fifth installment of the Matrix movie.

However, Wachowskis, who has worked as the pioneer of the Matrix franchise, will not be there in the forthcoming installment of the movie. However, the official sources have revealed that Drew Goddard, an American screenwriter, director, and producer who has earlier worked for World War Z and The Martian, will serve the movie with his unparalleled writing and directing skills.

For those who have yet to watch The Matrix movie and are entirely unaware of the legacy that it has created, let me tell you that The Matrix is the whole world in itself. The plotline develops around a computer hacker cyber war with the real world. The filmmakers and writers set benchmarks for the emerging cast and crew members through highly engaging screenwriting, direction, VFX, and camera presence of the featured cast members.

Lana and Lilly Wachowski, who initiated the project in late 1999, will continue under the vision of Drew Goddard. While appreciating the project, Drew mentioned that The Matrix franchise has changed my life, contributed to the world of cinema, and built the audience’s perspective to see the clear vision.

The Matrix Franchise Chronological Order

Apart from that, the movie is currently run for a total of six parts, out of which one has an animated version. Here is the list of The Matrix movies, which you can enjoy in the following chronological order.

  • The Matrix – (1999)
  • The Matrix  Revisited – (2001)
  • The Matrix Reloaded – (2003)
  • The Matrix Revolutions – (2003)
  • The Matrix Resurrections – (2021)

The Matrix franchise has earned significant fame, and audiences have been praising the efforts of the showmakers. However, 2021’s released The Matrix Resurrections has secured fewer earnings than the previous releases, but it was still nominated for the BAFTA Film Award for Best Special Visual Effects.

If you have yet to watch The Matrix Resurrections, head to the Netflix or Max network to enjoy the film. The movie is also available on Amazon, Microsoft Store, and iTunes. Lastly, when an expert takes over the continuation of a film or series that has already built a legacy all over the globe, it would become the perfect masterpiece. Similarly, Drew Goddard and Wachowskis hopefully make it worth watching part of the Matrix franchise.
