Eddie Murphy’s Film The Pickup Triggered Unfortunate Accident and Several Crew Members Injured in The Crash

According to the internal production team members, several crew members were injured in an unfortunate incident on the set of Eddie Murphy’s film The Pickup.

Recently, an accident happened on the set of Eddie Murphy’s The Pickup film, hospitalizing two crew members and injuring several others. The spokesperson has agreed to share the details of the incident on a condition of anonymity as he is not allowed to speak publicly.

The person reported to The Associated Press on Tuesday that Saturday’s unfortunate event left everyone in turmoil. Fortunately, Murphy and the other lead cast members, such as Pete Davidson and Keke Palmer, were not present on the set at that time.

However, no one was ready for the accident. The members have also added that the accident took place on the location of Atlanta when a truck hit a car, and the accident happened on a sour note.

In addition to that, the person also revealed that it was not even a complicated or dangerous turn, but undoubtedly, it shocked everyone who was there at the time of the accident.

Not only that, but the members also broke the news that the scene was being shot by a second team unit that does not shoot such scenes, especially since the team was also instructed not to include the directors and lead cast members.

Despite the scheduled events, the unit had shot the scene, and unluckily, it didn’t go as planned and ended up with a fatal accident. The injured cast and crew members were shifted to hospitals, and injuries included bruises, broken bones, and bumps. However, reports have also mentioned that everyone will recover entirely quickly.

Further ahead, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, the union that serves as the representative unit of Hollywood crew members, will examine the incident.
