When Hazel-May McCall starts working for the company, she seems like a friend and partner, but that changes her whole world.

Nella is initially excited but quickly turns suspicious when Hazel’s actions cause her problems. As Nella learns more about a dark plan involving brainwashing and exploitation carried out by a mysterious group called the Sisterhood, led by Diana, office politics and manipulations get worse.

The story gets more complicated when Hazel’s real name is revealed, and she is accepted into the Sisterhood. This brings up deep-seated issues of racism and internalized oppression in the business world.
