Modern Family Star Ty Burrell and Filmmaker Bryan Cranston Will Come Together For Tightrope Series

Recently, official sources have confirmed that Ty Burrell, who has played the role of Phil Dunphy in the Modern Family series, has picked up a new role for the television series, ‘Tightrope.’
Tightrope is an American crime-thriller drama series, that was created and developed by Russell Rouse and Frederick Brady in the late 1950s. The original film featured Krekor Ohanian, who is popularly known as Mike Connors.
After performing in the sitcom drama series Modern Family, Modern Family star Ty Burrell is now ready to make his strong mark in the forthcoming crime drama series Tightrope. Deadline has reported that Ty Burrell will reshape the vintage drama of the 1950s through his lone-wolf detective character who is searching for his long-lost love while following the cases.
What Makers and Cast Have Said About Tightrope TV Series?
The Primetime Emmy Awards winner Bryan Lee Cranston is one of the most renowned actors and filmmakers. He has worked for the Breaking Bad series and now he will serve the upcoming Tightrope television series. While mentioning the forthcoming project, Bryan said, “I was inspired by the on-the-nose old drama series of the 1950s.”
He further stated, “To mess with the whole concept and create a new version of a comedy, never seen before in a television series.” In addition, the actor added, “I am thrilled to be working on the same project with filmmaker Bryan Cranston and Roku Media originals on this idea of a show.”
Apart from the executive producer, Bryan Cranston, and cast, Ty Burrell, the president of Roku Media, Charlie Collier has also talked about the forthcoming series and how the plot will entertain a large chunk of the audience. He said, “Since, Tightrope! Is a comedy that revolves around a detective, we are glad to have Ty Burrell and Bryan Cranston under the same project.”
