8 Shows Like Ancient Aliens You Love to Watch
I see many of you have reached this article after seeing the word “Aliens” at the beginning, so you have come to the right place because the series that we have mentioned below are about Aliens and other supernatural phenomena.
If you have watched Ancient Aliens, I can guarantee you will enjoy the series mentioned below.
1. Ancient Aliens:
Ancient Aliens is an American series about Pseudoscience and Pseudohistory narrated by Robert Clotworthy. The series covers many interesting historical topics and may reveal unknown facts about our history.
The first season was released on 20th April 2010, and it has remained a fan favorite with a long run; its latest season, 19, was released on 6th January 2023.
Each episode of Ancient Aliens contains facts about ancient times. In the show, the makers add expert talks where they discuss old mythologies and old societies, tell us about aliens and other supernatural phenomena, share their views about it, and support their claim by stating that in ancient times there is a high probability of aliens’ existence, and talk about many other old things.
First, they point to ancient archaeological sites and the technology people used at the time, such as the Pyramids of Giza, whose construction method is still a mystery to us.
2. Paranormal Caught on Camera:
Many people have heard of paranormal activity, but many don’t believe in it. Paranormal Caught on Camera has similar plotlines, and host Brian J. Cano discusses paranormal activities, UFO sightings, and more, even showing real-life video footage, which gives the viewer something to see.
Now, we’ll discuss the similarities between Ancient Aliens and Paranormal Caught on Camera. However, the series covers ancient paranormal activities by using old footage and researching old theories.
3. Ghost Adventures:
Have you guys heard of haunted houses and mansions? A lot of us don’t believe in them, right? But there are a lot of reality shows, for example, Ghost Adventures, an American paranormal reality show that premiered on Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, and Discovery+.
The television show Ghost Adventures follows Billy Tolley, Jay Wasley, Zak Bagans, and Aaron Goodwin as they investigate places believed to be haunted. Their work brings them into contact with the paranormal and helps them piece together the events that have transpired at these locations.
3. In Search of Aliens:
Like Ancient Aliens, Ghost Adventures documents paranormal phenomena.
In the sequel to Ancient Aliens, In Search Of…Aliens, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos tries to build on his success by focusing on a similar paranormal theory.
In Search Of…Aliens takes a different approach from its predecessor by focusing on recently discovered evidence and paranormal stories, and serves as a companion piece to Ancient Aliens.
While In Search Of…Aliens serves as a spin-off of Ancient Aliens, the two shows are very similar in both format and hosting.
4. Modern Marvels:
History’s longest-running show and fan favorite, Modern Marvels, focuses on human ingenuity and invention. From the airplane to the automobile, and beyond, the series covers it all. Based on older designs, the series even proposes some older theories.
Now, when we look at Ancient Aliens and Modern Marvels, we don’t find direct correlations, but the two do share similarities. For example, in both series, the producers collect old theories and so on.
5. UFOs: The Lost Evidence:
From the name of the series, we can tell that the main focus is on UFOs. The series UFOs: The Lost Evidence, as the name suggests, focuses on UFOs and spaceships. Richard Monahan created it to explore the question of alien existence.
They also think that alien nations have landed on Earth and have begun exploring our oceans, covert military teams, and so on. Additionally, we find the same type of Ancient Aliens and UFOs: The Lost Evidence, which also focuses on investigating our planet.
6. Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation:
Like Ancient Aliens, the focus of Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation is to validate the existence of aliens on our planet.
It focuses on two former government officials, Christopher Mellon and Luis Elizondo, who are acknowledged experts in identifying invisible objects.
They both began their careers as government officers. Still, eventually, the show focuses on Elizondo becoming frustrated by his colleagues’ refusal to believe in the paranormal and his decision to leave the government to focus on the alien phenomenon.
They founded their company to take on all of these types of cases.
7. Alien Highway:
Another series, Alien Highway, focuses on the same theme of aliens and UFOs, and features former Colorado law enforcement officer Chuck Zukowski, who has devoted the last 30 years of his career to alien research. His son Daniel and another researcher, Heather Taddy, also support his work.
The team first tried to gather evidence and share their beliefs with law enforcement, but they were unsuccessful, as officers dismissed the alien phenomena as “rumors.” The team then decided to gather evidence of UFOs and alien phenomena themselves and began investigating areas with reported alien sightings.
The major premise of Alien Highway is similar to Ancient Aliens, but we see a new element: this team is more vigorous in their research of alien phenomena.
8. UFO Hunters:
One of my favorite Sci-Fi series of all time, UFO Hunters focuses on investigating UFOs and alien phenomena. In each episode, we meet new people with firsthand experience with UFOs and alien phenomena.
As the series continues, we learn about real-life situations experts encounter while pursuing these investigations.
The only thing Ancient Aliens and UFO Hunters have in common is their efforts to provide evidence for the theory of alien existence.
Final Words:
These are the paranormal series that I like the most. They are all well-known series that have shown audiences a lot of impossible things with some footage.
Many expert talks present evidence for the existence of aliens and other supernatural phenomena.
If you are an avid watcher of The Ancient Aliens, you will definitely enjoy the other series that I have recommended.
