Guy Ritchie and Charlie Hunnam’s ‘The Gentlemen’ Gets New 4K Collector’s Edition Release

Lionsgate Home Entertainment announced today the release of a new Collector’s Edition 4K Blu-ray SteelBook for Guy Ritchie’s 2019 crime thriller The Gentlemen starring Charlie Hunnam and Matthew McConaughey. This physical media edition of the hit film, which has recently resurged in popularity on streaming services, is available only on Amazon and is set to arrive on December 15, 2026.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment is releasing a Collector’s Edition 4K Blu-ray SteelBook of Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film The Gentlemen on December 15, 2026. The film will be available exclusively through Amazon and features the original cast, including Charlie Hunnam and Matthew McConaughey.

The newly announced edition is a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook Collector’s Edition. Movie collectors love this physical-media format because it comes in a metal case and looks better.

This SteelBook edition will be an Amazon exclusive, meaning it will be available only on the retailer’s platform, according to the official announcement. The release includes the 4K Ultra HD disc, meaning the film’s stylistic cinematography is presented in the highest consumer resolution available.

The Gentlemen, written and directed by Guy Ritchie, was released in cinemas in early 2020. The ensemble cast includes:

Charlie Hunnam’s performance as the meticulous but fiercely loyal right-hand man, Raymond, is one of the film’s standout elements and a big part of why it has remained so popular with crime thriller fans.

The Gentlemen originally premiered in theaters several years ago but has recently resurfaced as a streaming hit. The film’s razor-sharp dialogue, complex plotting, and stylized action have introduced it to a new generation of viewers.

This renewed interest in the film’s universe is also reflected in the larger franchise. Guy Ritchie adapted the property into a TV series that debuted on Netflix in 2024, further cementing the brand’s continued relevance in the crime drama genre. Charlie Hunnam has also been talking about coming back to the franchise recently, so fans still speculate about future installments.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment confirmed the release details in an official statement sent to physical media retailers and news outlets. The announcement emphasized the December 15, 2026, release date and that it’s available for pre-order only through Amazon.

This physical media re-release is a standard home entertainment distribution upgrade, so neither Guy Ritchie nor Charlie Hunnam has released any statements about it.

If you’re a physical media collector, the announcement of a SteelBook edition is a big chance to get a premium version of a modern crime classic. SteelBooks are generally made in small numbers so that they can be quite collectible.

For the wider entertainment industry, this re-release underscores the ongoing commercial viability of quality theatrical films transitioning successfully to streaming platforms. The film’s streaming success and new physical release feed each other, illustrating a multi-platform approach that continues to make money for legacy titles.

Fans and collectors can now pre-order the Collector’s Edition 4K Blu-ray SteelBook via Amazon. The product is expected to start shipping in mid-December 2026, just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Lionsgate has not announced any additional special features or bonus content exclusive to this SteelBook edition of the theatrical cut in 4K. We may learn more about the packaging design or any exclusive inserts closer to the release date.
