Pulp Fiction Stars Reunite for 30th Anniversary; John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and More; and Honor Bruce Willis

Pulp Fiction stars John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, and Samuel L. Jackson celebrated the 30th anniversary of the 1994 hit movie during the TCM Classic Film Festival. The other cast members who attended the event include Julia Sweeney, Rosanna Arquette, Frank Whaley, Eric Stolz, and Phil LaMarr. The cast gathered together and posed for a few photos on the red carpet.

The film’s producer, Lawrence Bender, and the executive producer, Stacey Sher, are also part of their reunion celebration. Travolta appeared with his daughter Ella Bleu Travolta and posed with her in an arm-in-arm picture.

At that moment, Keitel talked about director Tarantino. He said that Tarantino has some power to change the direction of their work. He added that they were all here for the same reason and respect the art and the artist.

Emma Herming Willis, the wife of Bruce Willis, and his daughter Tallulah Willis attended the film festival’s opening, as Bruce Willis remained at home as he had dementia. The co-cast members honored him on that special occasion.  Pulp Fiction was one of the biggest films in Bruce’s career, in which he played the role of boxer Butch Coolidge.

Tallulah wore a black baseball cap to honor her father, which embroidered “Bruce” in white letters. Also, she dressed in ripped loose jeans, a black blazer, and a yellow shirt. At the same time, Emma wore a jet-black suit and a white blouse.

Travolta recalled his memories of working with Willis on Entertainment Tonight. He said that he had a history with Bruce; they worked together in the film Look Who’s Talking.  He also added that they had spent a vacation together and were comfortable with each other.

Willis’s family announced in February 2023 that he had developed a condition called frontotemporal dementia. His family also added in the statement that the symptoms Bruce was facing were challenges with communication.

Pulp Fiction was a breakthrough for director Quentin Tarantino after the release of his film Reservoir Dogs. The film follows three storylines, which feature the criminals that interrelate with each other.

Tarantino won the Academy Award in the category of Best Original Screenplay. Travolta and Jackson received nominations for Oscars for acting. Tarantino wrote Pulp Fiction in 1992 and 1993, which is considered his masterpiece work. The performance of the cast members of the film was widely appreciated.

Entertainment Weekly named it the best film since 1983, and it placed on the list of many critics as the greatest film ever made.

Arquette recently said in an interview with PEOPLE that at that time they knew that they were working with a great director, but they didn’t realize how huge the film has become.
