Tim Story to direct Kevin Hart in superhero comedy Night Wolf

Thirteen years after his work in “The Fantastic 4 and Silver Surfer”, director Tim story He returns to superhero movies to focus on the more comical side of these, and for this he will have his collaborator, the actor. Kevin Hart. Deadline reveals that Story will direct Hart in the movie Night Wolf, an upcoming superhero comedy from STX Entertainment.

Story and Hart have worked together on the series. Ride Along and Think Like a Man. Additionally, Story co-directed Hart’s films / documentaries. “Laugh at My Pain”, “Let Me Explain” and “What Now?”. Most recently, Story directed the movie “Shaft” from last year.

Night Wolf It is described as a meeting in the style of the movie “Meet the Parents”, in Spain entitled “Her parents”, in which the character of Hart meets the father of his fiancée for the first time. However, she soon learns that her future mother-in-law is actually a superhero.

The writers of Detective PikachuDan Hernandez and Benji Samit wrote the script for the film. Story and Hart will also produce through their respective companies Story Company and HartBeat Productions.

Tim was our first choice for this project, ”said Adam Fogelson, President of STXfilms Motion Picture Group. His comedy and action skills, along with his long history of working with Kevin in both ‘Ride Along’, both films by ‘Think Like a Man’, and many of Kevin’s comedy films made him especially suitable for this material. It came with a great proposition and STX and HartBeat couldn’t be more excited to get started.
